Remove a white background from a logo without deleting white details

Many raster logos arrive as JPG or PNG files with a white rectangle baked into the image. Quicklio removes only background-colored pixels that are connected to the outer edges of the image. That matters for logos because enclosed white letters, holes, and shapes are less likely to be erased simply because they match the background color.

How to make a logo background transparent

Upload a PNG, JPG/JPEG, or WebP logo.
Quicklio detects the likely corner background color. If that is wrong, click the original preview to pick the background yourself.
Adjust Tolerance until the box or halo disappears, then use Edge softness for cleaner anti-aliased edges.

Important limitation: this tool is intentionally optimized for white and solid-color logo backgrounds. If the logo sits on a detailed photograph, gradient, or textured scene, a subject-segmentation editor is a better fit.

Why download PNG?

PNG supports transparency while keeping sharp logo edges and text. JPG does not support transparent pixels, so downloading the result as JPG would add a solid background again.

Frequently asked questions

Is the logo uploaded anywhere?

No. The background removal is performed by JavaScript in your browser. The file is not sent to a Quicklio server.

Can I remove an off-white background?

Yes. The corner color is detected automatically, and the Tolerance slider can include nearby shades caused by JPEG compression, scanning, or anti-aliasing.

Why did part of my logo disappear?

Lower the Tolerance value or click a cleaner background area in the original preview. The tool starts from the outer edges, but very light logo elements that touch the image border can still be interpreted as background.

Can I remove a black or colored background?

Yes. Pick that background with the color control or click it directly in the original image, then run background removal again.
